Sweater Weather

Although we are having an Indian Summer in the Northeast, technically it is sweater weather. I have an odd obsession with sweaters, I never feel that I have enough. I buy a lot of them, but I wear them all too! Fall sales will be starting in November- just in time to actually get some use out of them. Check out a few of my faves below.

In an Altuzarra Knit

Chloé Cashmere Sweater – Although more of an investment, this sweater is not only warm and comfortable, but comes in Olive – one of the colors of the season.

Helmut Lang Layered Sweater – I love this sweater. Its edgy and not over the top expensive. You’ll wear it all the time!

Courreges Striped Turtleneck – The colors on this sweater are on point. Besides, who doesn’t love a good striped sweater?

Prabal Gurung Cable Crew – If you are a regular FO40 reader, you know that I love knits from Prabal Gurung. I buy at least one a season and wear them year after year. This cashmere cable crew is no different.

Altuzarra Mixed-Knit Turtleneck Sweater – Day or night, this sweater is a show stopper. The subtle cut outs make it a great one for a colder night out. Pare with black leather pants for a killer monochromatic look.

Vince Fair Isle – Boy do I love me some Fair isle. This Vince Cashmere sweater is perfect for those snowy nights.

Tory Burch Zip Front Cardigan – Another in the Fair Isle department, this Tory Burch sweater is much more of a traditional ski sweater. Wear it in the city with a great pair of jeans or on your ski holiday to stand out amongst the crowd in their black ski gear.
