I love loungewear. Once I get home from a long day at the office, I’m out of my dress and heels and into my comfy clothes. Where’s the line between loungewear and pajamas? One may never know, but the broad genre is cozy, homey, and relaxing. Here’s some of my favorites…
Eberjey – Eberjey makes great lounge and sleep wear. The cotton is very soft, and there are tons of styles from which to choose. From sexy to casual, everything in Eberjey’s line is flattering. I love this drawstring pant, and am also a fan of their pajamas and robes. Available here.
Wildfox – Wildfox’ offerings, while a bit campy, include these ultra-soft sweatshirts and sweatpants that I wear around the house, at the beach, and sometimes to bed. Whenever I wear one, they are a conversation piece. You can find something for every age from this brand. Available here.
Roberta Roller Rabbit – RRR, known for their eponymous prints, is another fave due to both style and comfort. I have the monkey pajamas, and this year they came out with a Reindeer print that sold out faster than tables at Le Cou Cou. I’m hoping they make a come back next year! Grab a pair for yourself, and take a “matchy-matchy” leap with a set for your “mini-me” or your other half! (available for both girls and boys up to size 14 as well as Men’s). Available here.
Sol Angeles – I discovered this brand while I was on vacation in the Caribbean. I bought these amazingly soft t-shirts at the resort boutique at the Viceroy Hotel (now a Ritz Carlton). I checked out their website and found other amazing tees, sweatpants and sweat shirts. What a great find. You can also find their wares at many surf shops. With a large line and offerings for the whole family, keep your eye out for their ever-expanding line. A crowd-pleaser. Available here.
Grazia’lliani – Ages ago this was my “go-to” pajama brand. Sadly, I’m finding it increasingly hard to find this brand. While Barneys had carried the entire line each year, I now buy it on Nancy Meyer. The pajamas are tasteful and elegant, and the robes are so plush I tend to fall asleep in them. Their robes are made of Fleece and last forever. Available here.
Cosabella – You probably know Cosabella for their suggestive lingerie, but you’ll be pleased to know they also make great lounge/sleep wear. You can find their items online and at many specialty lingerie stores; the Cosabella boutiques will generally have a great selection of the entire line. I love their camisoles and pants with matching robes. Available here.
